Just thought you might like to know how we were getting on. We used Chatt Masala in a lamb and rice dish. It could only be described as excellent and the taste complimented the dried apricots and raisins used in this dish. The Chilli Flakes most certainly have a wonderful flavour. Their quality is well above the Chilli Flakes that one buys in the supermarkets in those tiny little jars, which not only burn your mouth but are flavorless too! We have so far used it in beans, lentils and tomato sauce. Josette makes her own spicy tomato sauce in meatballs and other grilled meat. The Coriander Powder is another excellent spice, which gives a wonderful flavour to potato dishes. Josette also made some beef burgers using a teaspoon of Garem Masala in addition to a chopped onion. This comes highly recommended.
